Next academic year (2022-2023), the VUB AI Lab will welcome the first students in the brand new Bachelor in AI. Last week the programme received a positive recommendation after the so called “Toets nieuwe opleiding”, a thorough external approval procedure. The Flemish government – who invested a lot in AI during the last couple of years – will formally decide on the implementation of the programme soon.
This programme will be the first Bachelor in AI in Belgium and will respond to the growing demand for AI-trained professionals and researchers.
