Andrea is a PhD candidate in the AI Lab at the VUB in Brussels under the supervision of Ann Nowé. In 2019 he obtained his BSc in Physics Engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin and in 2022, he completed his MSc in Data Science and Engineering.
His work focuses on combining control theory and reinforcement learning to develop safer, sample efficient agents for real world use.
