Marjon holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (2009) and obtained a joint PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the University of Ghent (2014). Since 2020 she works as an AI developer at the Artificial Intelligence Lab of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She is also a developer of trainings on AI and is part of the team that runs the AI Experience Center.
Johan Loeckx started as a micropreneur when he was 16. He received a MSc. in Engineering, a MSc. in AI and a PhD from K.U.Leuven. He co-designed the Belgian encryption system for exchanging health information for which a patent was filed. He co-founded a Freinet school and is an active musician. Johan is assistant professor, manages the applied R&D team at the Artificial Intelligence Lab at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels and initiator of its lifelong learning program.
All our trainings take place either at the AI Experience Center (AIXC) or on-premise. It is a dedicated space that showcases more than 20 AI demos and projects, and is located on our Etterbeek campus in Brussels.
