This year, we celebrate 7 years of collaboration with the VUB AVRG group in the mechanics department. Together, we completed several R&D projects in which AI techniques were employed to provide predictive maintenance and health-aware control of wind turbines. One of the successes of our collaboration is the creation of a world-class simulator based on industrial data from multiple wind farms in the North Sea in which AI models are optimized.
