Casparo premiered at the Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona on 18 July 2011 for an audience of 2000 spectators. It was commissioned by the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence. We are grateful to Carles Sierra and the IJCAI trustees for making this performance possible.
Title roles were Inès Moraleda (Rosalinda), Bevery Green (Casparo) and Pablo López (Graziano). Joan Baptista Mora (tenor) completed the chorus. Elisa’s voice was performed by Katrien Beuls (Barcelona).
