The Computational Modelling Lab of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Sensing and Control S.L. organise a HACKATHON on from 6/30 to 7/1 at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Mandela, building Q).
The topic of the hackathon is everything related to the Internet of Things (specially sensors and energy). For example:
- Connect arduino boards to smartphones
- Analyse data from energy API’s
- Energy calculator
- Energy efficiency game
- Share sensors information
- Manage VUB Greenhouse
- Data mashups (mix solar production, weather and energy)
- Create a new rule engine for sensors (IFTTT)
All participants receive an event T-shirt, tasty catered meals, tech support, and the opportunity to make new friends and share good times. Enjoy 24 hours coding session, free food, free drinks and the possibility to win some amazing prizes.
There will be parallel sessions during the hackathon. Developers are invited to attend during the day. Our mentors will share their expert knowledge and can provide support to your ideas during the day.
