A curiosity to unveil the intricacies of problem statements in life science, a passion to solve them with the aid of bioinformatics skills, zeal to apply my knowledge of computers and to learn & share the experiences with leading Scientists and Industrialists defines my purpose.

Currently, I am working as a Post-doctoral researcher in COMO-AI Lab at Vrije Universiteit Brussels, Belgium in BRiDGEIris project funded by Innoviris. I am developing a Clinical-Phenotype Annotation Database in the project. My major focus in the project lies for development of machine learning approaches to analyse and look for comorbid patterns among the genomic variants and their associated clinical data.

I pursued my PhD research work at Jaypee University of Information Technology, India; in the area of business intelligence application for Clinical Informatics domain. My research area focused on storage of clinical data at the grain of individual. I have designed optimal solution for processing, storage, analysis & retrieval of clinical data that can be stored on temporal metric. The strategy would help in making effective analysis, also taking into consideration correlative studies and will help for auguring health state.

Also, I am having 3 years of professional experience in I.T. consulting. I have worked in Sapient Corporation from 2007-2010 as Associate Technology and specialized in Data-warehousing, Database development & Business Intelligence reporting. My work experience are in telecom and insurance domain.

The key technologies on which I work, includes:

  • Business Intelligence (Data warehousing; BI Reporting; Data Modeling; Data Mining);
  • Relational Database design & development;
  • In-silico drug design approaches & implementation.
