Distinguished paper presentation by Joachim De Beule at BeNeLearn 2012

Joachim De Beule's paper titled "Overcoming the Tragedy of the Commune in the Hawk-Dove Game through Conventional Coding" has been selected as distinguished paper at the annual Belgian-Dutch Conference on Machine Learning (BeneLearn) in Ghent. He will be presenting this paper on May 24th at 11:00. You can find the full programme here.

Inaugural lecture by Bart de Boer

On the occasion of  the appointment as professor (tenure track) within our department (in the context of an ERC grant), Bart de Boer will give an inaugural lecture entitled "Modelling the evolution of speech". The lecture will take place on March 1, 2012  at 16h  in the lecture hall D0.05 and is followed by a reception at the Convivium.
